Energy Saving Tips

Paudie is an expert in sustainable energy. He is happy to offer our customers reliable, practical advice on how to boost the energy efficiency of their homes and save money on household bills.
Regardless of the current energy rating of your home, achieving an A rating today will inevitably save you more in the long run.
Utilising high performance building materials is the key to any energy efficient building.
Introducing more efficient insulation and improving airtightness & glazing performance will reduce heat loss through walls, floors and roofs, improving your energy rating.
A lagging jacket on your boiler can also reduce heat loss significantly.
The efficiency of your current heating system should be taken into consideration. Regular boiler maintenance ensures your boiler is performing at optimum efficiency, reducing your fuel consumption while lowering your heating costs.
Solar Panel, heat pumps and other forms of alternative energy have become increasingly popular in recent years and can save you a considerable amount of money on your home heating costs.
